TW: SA. In this episode Reece and I talk about being on a healing journey these past few years, how to stay grounded in creating the music we want to despite the outside noise, our struggles with depression as well as our healing experiences with psilocybin, and the unfiltered reality of being an independent artist.
Reece is a queer artist based in Virginia. He’s been pursuing music professionally for 7 years, but has been an avid lover of music since early childhood, citing Imogen Heap as his biggest early influence. His fascination with the human experience and the darker parts of it are what inspires his art. Outside of creating, Reece enjoys learning about spirituality, cooking, and watching reality tv shows such as real housewives where his knowledge of each Franchise is alarmingly vast.
