In this conversation, Amanda and I talk about what it's like to be a highly sensitive person in this world without letting it harden us, being human and messy and allowed to make mistakes, being introverted and finding the balance between putting ourselves out there and taking time to ourselves. We also talk about how Amanda started her own women's circle, her personal journey with chronic depression and the tools she has developed and sought out on her healing journey, as well as our experiences with psychedelics as a therapeutic tool and medicine.
Amanda Visger is an intuitive, soft-hearted creative based in Northern California. She works in the mental health field and has an educational background in clinical psychology. Alongside her passion for accessibility in psychological services, she takes great pleasure in viewing life through the lens of a mystic. Amanda hosts monthly women’s circles, where she creates intentional spaces to nurture innate, human connection through mindfulness, transparency, and mutual storytelling. Her spiritual path includes connecting with nature, fostering healing environments, and destigmatizing what it means to be a sensitive person.
