The Purple Path is an exploration of what it means to live a life in pursuit of radical authenticity and carving out our own unique path. This is a space for softness and vulnerability, where we explore soul medicine in all its forms and delve deeper into creativity, healing and spirituality. This path isn’t always an easy one, and it is my hope that this will be a safe space for us to feel more supported, inspired and connected on our journeys. May we remember who we are and what we’re capable of when we tap into our authentic selves.

15. Calling Our Creative Energy Back To Us - Raquel Castro

The energetics of creative work and Raquel's multifaceted journey throughout the entertainment industry, how to stay true to your own unique path and not being afraid to do things differently, creating and pursuing our dreams from a place of abundance and flexibility rather than lack and restriction, we talk about our experiences as women dealing with hormonal imbalances and how much that can affect your life, coping with moments of self doubt, and so, so much more.

Raquel Castro is an actress, singer/songwriter and esthetician from New York, living in Los Angeles. Her path in the entertainment world was nurtured and encouraged from an early age. By age 4 she was regularly appearing on "Sesame Street" and "Nick Jr." At age 7 she had her breakout role playing Gertie Trinkie in the feature film "Jersey Girl" alongside Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Her first professional platform into the music industry was at age 16 as a finalist on Christina Aguilera's team on Season 1 of "The Voice," she had a full-circle moment when she recently returned to NBC on Season 2 of "Songland" and had the incredible opportunity to pitch a song she wrote in front of Grammy-winning producers Ryan Tedder, Shane McAnally, and Ester Dean, as well as R&B artist "H.E.R." Raquel worked one-on-one with Ryan Tedder, and her song "Wrong Places" was chosen and released by "H.E.R."

Raquel is also 1/3 of a new R&B neo-soul girl band called “eddy.”
