Hello friends,

Let me introduce you to my friend Abraham (Abe) Lopez. He is never serious, except for this podcast :). Abe lightens up every interaction with his sarcastic witty humor and we are so grateful to be able to work with him at the Pure Living Family Foundation. Our goal is to introduce you to our team at our Foundation and give you a little insight into what motivates us and why we want to serve the parents of special needs kids around the globe.

Abe talks about his experience of moving to the United States from Guatemala, meeting his future wife in elementary, and later becoming a father to his beautiful son Kingston, and managing the autism diagnosis while fathering his two other kids, Mia and Oslo.

This conversation helped me realize that men and fathers of kids with special needs really need community. Mothers are coded to speak about their experience with other Moms. But it is not masculine to speak about your thoughts and your feelings. I felt like I connected with Abe at such a deeper level from this podcast interview.
