The Monster reigns supreme once again. Naoya Inoue defeated MJ Akhmadaliev by Unanimous Decision to retain his Undisputed Super Bantamweight Title. Throughout the whole fight Inoue controlled the pace of the fight along with showing a different side to his elite fight style. Unlike most of Inoue’s fights, Inoue focused on out boxing Akhmadaliev instead of punishing him. The fight saw Inoue fighting on the outside using his jab and counter punching abilities while also using feints to open up Akhmadaliev. Although this was Inoue’s first time going the distance in over 6 years, The Monster still showed why he is one of boxing’s most elite fighters today.
