The imminent withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan has created a humanitarian crisis which raises many questions about how peace as well as social justice can be maintained without resorting to imperialism.  We look at suggestions from the originator of Prout, P.R. Sarkar, who envisioned the creation of a world body which would be capable of preventing and resolving crises such as the one in Afghanistan.
