Empowering Students at CPS: Access, Engagement, and Professional Growth
In this episode of The Professionals Podcast, we're joined by Ms. Liesl Riddle, Dean of the College of Professional Studies (CPS). Over the past year, the College of Professional Studies has focused on raising awareness of its programs, strengthening existing offerings, and developing new ideas, all while forging vital partnerships with vendors and employment partners. A major highlight has been the successful reimagining of the college’s branding and marketing strategies, leading to increased visibility both within and outside the university. This included the launch of new websites, advertising campaigns, and an award-winning media campaign.
CPS has also made progress in its three overarching goals: people, learning, and professional progress. Initiatives like The Professional Access Roundtables and partnerships with industry leaders have provided students with valuable networking opportunities and exposure to real-world experiences. Additionally, the upcoming launch of the RevU lifelong learning platform marks an innovative step forward in continuing education and professional development.
Dean Liesl Riddle talks about all of these various inititives and many more in this episode and it's a must listen for current and prospective studentes; alumni, faculty, staff, and partners.
