Deputy editor Kezia Parkins sat down with Lucie Allen, New Forest-based beauty therapist and this year’s Therapist of the Year at the PB Awards. Lucie has some of the most varied education and experience as an avid learner. Her unquenchable thirst for knowledge has led her to qualifications in everything from nail technology and dermatology to nutrition and microbiology.
In this episode, we discuss her varied experience, how it felt to be a PB Award winner after being a finalist twice, and her love and passion for all things holistic and wellness. We also talked about the importance of looking after yourself as a therapist and Lucie shared what she does to ensure her mind and body are looked after in order to look after her clients.
