Connecting Your Family to Community
Often we talk about the importance of awareness of our peer interactions from the standpoint of who to avoid. As parents, it is our responsibility to monitor and protect our kids from bad influences. But an often overlooked—and equally important responsibility—is the extent to which we proactively connect our children to their community and the importance of that connection. In this podcast, Lindsey Nichols and Sierra Rose join Superintendent Misty Newcomb in talking about how they make this happen with their kids. There’s a special encouragement in here to parents of older children as well, so be sure and listen along.
