The Prime Subjective goes back in time to 1966, where we discuss two classic episodes of the ORIGINAL Star Trek, “The Menagerie, Part I,” and “The Menagerie, Part II.” These episodes give us a peek at the early-established backstory of Captain Pike, and give us a look at a version of Star Trek that never was. Here we discuss the production history, the lore, and also the differences between 1966 Capt. Pike and 2025 Capt. Pike.
