DACA is stroke down once again. While we were expecting this news, it's not easy to face the reality that the DACA Program could be taken away. While we can still continue to renew our DACA application, millions of eligible applicants are left out of the program. We know DACA is only temporary, and the fear and anxiety to be at risk of loosing our jobs, or be separated from our family becomes more real with every new decision. Check-in on your DACA friends, and let them know we are all here for each other. No matter what, we are better together and I trust in God that bigger and better things are coming for us.

DACA is back in the courts! Last week, a hearing took place where we are once again left to await the fate of DACA.

We’re back!!!! This year we welcomed our newest family member, baby Dré! We are now four months postpartum and excited to share his birth story! It was a roller coaster ride from preparing for birth, to experiencing labor, and rolling with complications. Overall, this is a positive induction story and such a unique experience I was able to share with my husband and family! 💙

It's the end of the year and the beginning of a new chapter for us. What is it really like returning to your home country as a DACA recipient, after 20+ years?
