Welcome to Season 2 of the Pre-Vinylettes podcast, a show featuring women, trans, and nonbinary sign painters in conversation with me, Meredith Kasabian of Best Dressed Signs and the Pre-Vinylite Society. In this season, I connect with eight fellow sign painters from four countries to discuss signs, art, life, and what it’s like working in the historically male dominated (but increasingly equitable) field of sign painting and its associated arts. Remy is graduate of the sign graphics program at LA Trade Tech and has a BA in political science from Columbia University. In this episode we discuss her experiences working as a sign painter in Los Angeles and her transition to designing books in New York City.
