The first episode exploring issues of identity in Georgia. Nicolas Kerszenbaum is a playwright from France, doing research in Georgia for a play on Abkhazia, a region in the South Caucasus which struggles for it’s own independence and identity as an independent, sovereign state, both from Georgia and from Russia. How do actors embody identities other than their own? How do playwrights write for characters with identities other than their own? To follow Nicolas’s work: https://www.franchement-tu.com/
