On September 23, U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a lengthy speech to the UN General Assembly, during which he blasted the UN as a failure. His remarks were a stark contrast from those delivered by Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Li hailed the UN as the world's "most universal, representative, and authoritative intergovernmental organization and plays an irreplaceable, key role in global governance."
