Melinda Price is a trailblazer for women in Australian motorsport. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, she has become one of the country’s most accomplished female racers — a true pioneer who helped pave the way for women in the sport.
She has competed in V8 Supercars, GT Production, Touring Car Masters, Hyundai Excels, and more recently, the Radical Cup. Many fans will remember her time racing the Castrol Cougars Commodore for Perkins Engineering — a chapter in her career that included a history-making performance at the Bathurst 1000 in 1998.
Melinda Price joins us on The Podium to reflect on her time in V8 Supercars and to share what it was like competing in some of the world’s most prestigious endurance events, including the Bathurst and Nürburgring 24 Hours.
She also talks about the experience of driving alongside the GOAT of Australian motorsport, a controversial former footballer and media personality, and a highly regarded Formula 1 circuit designer.
Plus, she gives us an insight into her current role as a pit reporter for the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series and her 2025 campaign in the Radical Cup Championship with Volante Rosso Motorsport.
