Episode 5: Partings
The Lord of the Rings is back in a big way with Amazon Studio's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Set almost 5000 years before the events of the original films, the show follows the exploits of various inhabitants of Middle-Earth as they attempt to uncover the origins of the darkness spreading over the land. While it features a handful of characters from the original films, the show follows all new characters in a familiar yet fresh world.

Join the Projection Booth's Mike White and The Kulturecast's Chris Stachiw as they take a weekly journey back into the world of Tolkien with a look at the show's fifth episode "Partings". The show begins to possibly show some cracks with the storytelling as it meanders around all the plot lines with very little to say on any.
