Paul & Mike discuss a time when the northern tribes of Israel were vexed by the Midianites, Amalekites and other eastern peoples. Israel was forced to flee their own fertile fields and rolling pastures for the relative safety provided by the surrounding hill country, dwelling in caves and shelters in the mountains. God chooses Gideon, the youngest son of Joash, a poor family of Manasseh, and 300 of his fellow warriors to confront the thousands of Midianites and save Israel.
