In this episode John is joined by Dr. Kelly Grindrod, who is an associate professor at the University of Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy and a clinical pharmacist in primary care. She has been working closely with public health and first responders on the roll-out of the take-home Naloxone program. John and Kelly discuss the scope and impact of the opioid overdose crisis and how pharmacists can drive the conversation on the use of Naloxone kits to help people with opioid use disorder.
