He completed his undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. With over 90 peer-reviewed papers and significant contributions to equine hydration and exercise research, Dr. Nielsen is recognized as a leader in the field.
