Life-App: Read through Matthew 6:16-18. What are some things in life that have become hungers over a hunger for God? Think of some different ways you can focus on God while your fasting (Prayer, Worship, Quiet Time, Sermons, Reading the word, etc…)
Community: If you are starting your fasting journey with a group, Share what you are seeking God for (Freedom from Sin, Breakthrough, Peace, Wisdom, etc…) and to commit pray for others who are journeying with you.
Accountability question: What can of fast are you going to do (Food, Tech/Social Media, Partial, etc). Once you decided, Commit to it and discuss it with a wise partner (Pastor, Leader, Elder, Wise Friend, Counselor) for accountability and guidance where needed.
