Andrea Fontana è talmente legato al motorsport che si ingegna costantemente nel tentativo di creare nuove strade per continuare a viverlo. Noi di The Pass lo abbiamo incontrato l’anno scorso all’Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola in occasione dell’ACI Racing Weekend, evento al quale Andrea era presente per competere nei round 11 e 12 della Porsche Carrera Cup Italia con il team Ebimotors. Nel corso della nostra Track Talk, Andrea ha raccontato diversi aneddoti di una storia ricca di sfumature, spiegandoci ciò che ha provato e imparato quando suo padre gli ha comunicato che avrebbe dovuto trovare personalmente le risorse per inseguire il suo sogno.
Innamorato dei mezzi da corsa sin dalla prima volta in cui prova un go-kart nel piazzale dietro casa, il bellunese classe 1996 capisce già da bambino che guidare è ciò che più gli piace fare. Sembra essere proprio il karting il mondo dove poter continuare a esprimere la propria passione e a raccogliere successi, ma un passaggio inaspettato alle macchine presenta nuove opportunità, che vengono colte per arrivare ad altri traguardi, tra cui la vittoria della Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final nella categoria PRO-AM e del F2 Italian Trophy. Un progetto nato senza fondamenti particolarmente solidi diventa sempre più strutturato grazie a una serie di sforzi, sacrifici e persino “porte in faccia”, di cui Andrea ci ha parlato.
Attualmente impegnato in veste di istruttore e pilota, Andrea insegna che, se canalizzate in modo opportuno, la testardaggine e la creatività possono dare origine a percorsi estremamente gratificanti.

Andrea Fontana is so attached to motorsport that he consistently strives in order to create new ways to continue living it. We at The Pass met him last year at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola on the occasion of the ACI Racing Weekend, an event that Andrea attended to compete in Rounds 11 and 12 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia with the Ebimotors team. Karting actually seems to be the world where he can continue to express his passion and achieve successes, but an unexpected move to cars presents new opportunities, which are seized to reach other goals, including the victory in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final in the PRO-AM category and in the F2 Italian Trophy. A project born without particularly solid foundations becomes increasingly structured thanks to a series of efforts, sacrifices and even "doors slammed in his face", which Andrea told us about.
Currently coaching and driving, Andrea teaches that, if channeled appropriately, stubbornness and creativity can give rise to extremely gratifying paths.
