GUIDARE MI FA STARE BENE - Riccardo Longhi PASSa da noi 🇮🇹

ITA

ENG

Ironic and emotional, Riccardo Longhi is that kind of adult who always retains a bit of his childish spirit. We at The Pass met him last year at the Franciacorta Karting Track on the occasion of Round 2 of the WSK Final Cup, an event that Riccardo attended as Birel ART Racing’s team manager. Throughout our Track Talk, Riccardo shared the meaning of motorsport in his life, also revealing the symbolic content of his peculiar driving style as well as of the dream that continues to motivate him.

The native of Reggio Emilia born in 1994 approaches engines thanks to the passion passed on to him by grandfather Giglio and by his workshop, where he soon takes a steering wheel in his hands. The adventure in karting actually begins with his grandfather and starts as a game before unexpectedly developing into a career full of successes, including the titles of Italian champion, European champion and vice world champion in the premier class. From the first obstacles to sudden program changes, from leisure to responsibility, from tears of disappointment to those of joy, always finding shelter in the therapeutic function of driving, capable of going beyond the tiredness, the pain and the skepticism that Riccardo told us about.

Currently busy in the dual role of professional go-kart driver and team manager, Riccardo demonstrates that difficulties and disadvantageous situations can be exploited to give your best and, paradoxically, as a further boost towards your goals.
