There is no standard or straight path in life; here’s a story of one of my closest friends, Momo. An Indian born and raised in Bahrain, studied India, worked in UAE, and moved to Canada.
From the eyes of her 13 year old self, there was the shifting of schools, struggling with dialects, and some trauma with hair oil whilst seeking some sense of familiarity.
Her 26-year-old self moved to UAE on her own for work and then took a chance to live in a completely different continent in her thirties.
Change is inevitable and here’s a woman who takes challenges head-on and Momo shares about her first-hand experience in moving to new places, adjusting to culture and logistics towards changing her life.
