The Pan-African Experience is a podcast that aims to re-ignite discussions about Pan-Africanism. And the purpose is the plant seeds of unity and inspiration among Africans, both at home and in the diaspora. Our discussions are based on extensive research. I speak to academics to expand on existing/new knowledge, and proffer solutions to internal and external issues faced by Africans/Black people.

EP 01 I Dr Molefi Kete Asante Presents The Antidote To The Colonial Legacies

In today’s episode, I was joined by Dr Molefi Kete Asante to discuss Post-colonial legacies and The United States of Africa. Dr Asante is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Africology and African American Studies at Temple University. He is the President of Molefi Kete Asante Institute and the editor of the Journal of Black Studies. Dr Asante has written numerous books including Afrocentricity, African Pyramids of Knowledge and Radical Insurgencies. We were briefly joined by Dr Nah Dove, an Afrocentric scholar at Temple University.

I am grateful and honoured to have Dr Molefi Kete Asante on the podcast.
