56. It's Time to Grow Up Pt. II
In part two of this series, I’m continuing the conversation on what it looks like to grow up in every area of our lives. A healthy, mature believer doesn’t just know about God—they live it out daily. Here are some indicators of maturity that I share in this episode: You live out the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control. God chose fruit because the longer you wait, the sweeter it gets. Maturity works the same way. You’re slow to anger. Immaturity lashes out quickly, but self-control holds steady. You’re thankful. Gratitude is the overflow of maturity and the gateway into God’s presence. You don’t hold grudges—you forgive, set boundaries, and move forward. You’re not easily offended. Instead of walls, you ask questions and pursue clarity. You treat your body as the temple of God—moving it, fueling it well, resting it. You know how to rest and Sabbath—protecting margin, ceasing work, and choosing play. You avoid excess—whether food, work, social media, or busyness. You have a quiet time—a sacred rhythm of connecting with God. You live obediently and faithfully, trusting God with your yes. You live in connection and community with others. You walk worthy of your calling—not someday, but today, in whatever season you’re in. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about growth. Each one of these is an invitation to keep maturing in Christ and living out His character in a deeper way. And if you’re ready to walk this out with other like-minded women, Thrive Collective is officially open! Our fall/winter semester theme is Deep Roots, Steady Growth: Building a Life That Flourishes in Every Season. Inside, you’ll find teaching, coaching, guest stories, and breakout rooms that will encourage and equip you in your season. 👉 Join us at www.comealivelifecoaching.com/thrive and use the code THRIVETODAY at checkout to get your first month free!
