Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Christ is Born! Give glory! We wish you strength in this nativity fast. The holy land seems to hold a special place to everyone. For centuries, after countless conquests and crusades, Jerusalem has not seen peace. Even today it's no secret that the state of Israel and Palestine have been fighting over that land for the past century, and what we're seeing now is the unfortunate culmination of that conflict. As we pray for a peaceful end to the clash, let's pray that they come together under the only true conclusion that will bring peace to that part of the middle east. The reality is that Israel is not a geographical place, and its people are not tied to land. Israel is the church itself in whom there are neither Jews, Greeks or Palestinians, but one body in Christ.
