116 - Tanael Joachim: Chasing Dreams from Haiti to NYC

This week, Atheer (@AtheerYacoub) and Sabeen (@SabeenComedy) chat with one of the top comedians in NYC who's also a pro tennis player (jk he wishes), Tanael Joachim (@tjstandup). TJ talks about leaving Haiti for New York when he was 19 and how he found his way into stand up comedy after quitting business school. He talks a lot about acceptance, shares his philosophies on life, and how he stays grounded while being a full time comedian.

TJ hosts the Cellar Chronicles at the Comedy Cellar. Check out his Instagram for tickets to catch him interviewing and hanging out with world famous comedians.
