Prim Siripipat talks with former Olympic figure skater and Stanford alum, Rachael Flatt, about her transition from sport. Having skated since she was 4, Rachael debunks Prim’s preconceived assumptions that retirement was “easy” and explains why leaving sport was a lot more difficult than what appears on the surface and to those beyond her entrusted circle. Currently a Ph.D. clinical psychology student at UNC-Chapel Hill, Rachael talks about finding her next purpose in life and shares how she decided on this helping profession over others.
