The New Millenia

The New Millenia is a podcast for anyone who’s starting to feel like they might understand why Carrie Bradshaw never had her shit together. Hosted by Millenia (born in 2000, new to adulthood, and 100% over pretending to have it together), this show is all about navigating the chaos of work, dating, friendships, mental health, and everything else we were “supposed” to know by now—but definitely don’t. Through unfiltered (and sometimes inebriated) conversations with friends, Millenia opens up about the messy, hilarious, and sometimes downright devastating realities of growing up in today’s world. No promises about big life lessons or perfect answers—just real stories, real friends, and the kind of connection that reminds you it’s okay to be a little lost. We’re all new here, and it shows—welcome to The New Millenia.

Hating Your Life a Little Bit Less Than Yesterday

Hating Your Life a Little Bit Less Than Yesterday
Today, I sat down with my childhood bestie, Hunter, to talk about what it really means to abandon a STEM degree in pursuit of something better, how graduating early can seriously mess with your sense of self, and what it’s like to become a first-time homeowner at just 23. We get into the unconventional paths we take, the pressures of hitting life’s milestones amidst a pandemic, and the lessons we’ve learned along the way. After 10+ years of friendship, Hunter still finds ways to teach me something new—so I hope you take away as much as I did! And the real tea? Figuring life out when you go off script is simply trying to hate your life a little less than yesterday.
