The New 40: Avoid a mid-life crisis, by becoming a mid-life creative

Are you over 40, and think your life as a thriving young person is over? Or approaching 40 and counting down the days until looking at your creative aspirations in the rearview mirror? Although we are gradually - looking different on the outside, we are just getting started on the inside, and this is a perfect time to lean into your lingering creative calling.

This is the NEW 40. A  show where we answer questions that adults face while in the prime of their lives, and also case study celebrities who only found their footing after 40. Steve Carrel, Melissa McCarthy. Artists like these, who you assume have been killing it their whole lives - their journey had just begun at 40, and yours will too.

The first season of the podcast we profiled celebrates careers to pull out some of the tools and tactics we can apply in our own creative lives. Season 2, we are embracing the next chapter by highlighting the careers of those who stuck with it through the ups and down, only to have the monstrous careers they have now, begin after the age of 40.

Join former therapist Heather Parady, and current comedian Rory Gardiner, as they tackle listener questions or share insights from their own creative careers as entertainers and content creators. Avoid a mid-life crisis by becoming a mid-life creative.
