The adventure begins in the town of Willow's Bend, a remote lumber town with a bandit problem. When a group of skilled adventurers known as Advents arrives at the Rusted Saw tavern seeking work, a quiet observer named Charts watches their every move. He follows them for his own reasons, hiding a mysterious companion named Frank and a deadly secret. This episode introduces a world of mercenaries, secrets, and revenge.
