The Nature of Well-being

The nature of well-being aims to gather and share stories about the mental, physical, and spiritual benefits of spending time in nature. We believe that the wilderness provides a crucial environment for people to find answers to those deeper questions in life and satisfy their biological need for things like meaning, purpose and a spiritual connection to the world them. This podcast grew out of the documentary project, "Mind, Body, and Soul: the Nature of Well-being." While filming interviews for the movie we realized that these stories needed to be shared with the world.

#18 - An interview with Feral - Also known as David Hanson just before finishing his CDT thru hike.

We met Feral early in our CDT hike, at a place called the toaster house. After losing touch, we figured he’d be one of those trail friends we’d never cross paths with again. But the trail had other plans. In a moment of pure synchronicity, we ran into him again in Glacier National Park—just miles from the end of his CDT thru-hike and the completion of his Triple Crown.
