The Nature of Well-being
Alex Maier and Amy Robin

The nature of well-being aims to gather and share stories about the mental, physical, and spiritual benefits of spending time in nature. We believe that the wilderness provides a crucial environment for people to find answers to those deeper questions in life and satisfy their biological need for things like meaning, purpose and a spiritual connection to the world them. This podcast grew out of the documentary project, "Mind, Body, and Soul: the Nature of Well-being." While filming interviews for the movie we realized that these stories needed to be shared with the world.

#12 - An interview with Bill "One Gallon" Nedderman sharing his motto, philosophy, and impressive outdoor resume.

Bill “One Gallon” Nedderman is just an ordinary person who loves exploring the outdoors. Over the years, he's paddled more than 44,200 miles, hiked more than 55,000 miles, and biked over a whopping 64,000 miles! He’s embraced a no-mad lifestyle and always follows the motto "do it." He’s spent over 7,500 nights sleeping under the stars, and he strongly believes in the philosophy of K.I.S.S (Keep it Simple Stupid).
