On todays episode of the naked DJ's podcast we talk about how some of the biggest names in music are backing a campaign for artist, song writers, and performers to get a bigger share of streaming royalties from platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. The campaign has the support of 150 artists including Paul Mccartney calling for a change in copywrite laws. We also discuss the 2021 Brit awards set to take place on May 13th. This event will be both a celebration as well as an experiment. Audience members will not be required to practice social distancing or wear masks. The event is the first major music event to welcome back a live audience. The event will be 1/5th of the way filled to compasity. Listeners be sure to leave your comments about streaming royalties, and if you think holding the Brit awards is a great idea at this time.
