
On this weeks episode, Linda Eskridge owner/founder of "Couture Business Gifting", shares how incorporating gifting into your marketing plan can enhance your relationships with prospects, clients and employees. Linda started out as an executive assistant for 25+ years. Part of her job responsibilities were to find gifts for clients. She struggled to find items of value that adequately represented the client. Another challenge she faced early in her career was that she was told in order to grow her business she "had to do it this way or that...one day I kind of just sat back and I had this "aha" moment and said I have to do this for what I'm passionate about and what works for me and just because it worked for them it's not going to work for (me) and that's OK". Linda's philosophy for success is to be authentic to yourself.
What gets Linda FIRED UP is educating people on the gifting life cycle. She feels relationship building starts from the first time you meet the prospect not at the end of the transaction.
