S3E1: Transitions
In our third Mug Up episode, we tackle the topic of transitions to medical school! Our host Kaya Dooley chats with two guests about their transition to medical school. Our first guest, Leslie MacMillan is a P.E.I. student who completed her undergrad in bio and pursued nursing while applying to medical school. She worked as a nurse for a year and moved to Newfoundland when she was accepted to MUN. Our second guest, Matt Carroll, is a first year student who prior to medical school, had a whole other career as an English university instructor for the past four years here at MUN!

Join us as we talk to our guests about their transitions to medical school and what inspired them. We will also chat about the highs and lows of medicine and all that makes us human, not just physicians. Let's go beyond the charting and the chaos - grab your favorite beverage and let's chat about that humanness and heart in medicine!
