The Mount MKE - sermons
Mount Lebanon

Jesus tells a surprising story about a dishonest manager and a generous master—not to praise dishonesty, but to reveal the genius of living with kingdom-minded wisdom. The master’s generosity opens the door for the servant’s shrewd action, and together they teach us something vital: God entrusts us with his resources not to hoard, but to handle them carefully and purposefully for his mission. Shrewd stewardship means using earthly things in ways that make an eternal difference—managing what God gives with wisdom, creativity, and a heart aligned to the generosity of our Master. A sermon on Luke 16:1-13

Stones of Remembrance #3 - Stones by the Jordan
Stones by the Jordan (Joshua 4:19–24) After miraculously crossing the Jordan River into the Promised Land, the Israelites set up twelve stones from the riverbed as a lasting memorial. These stones were a visible reminder of God’s power, provision, and faithfulness—and a call for future generations to revere and trust Him. In this sermon, we reflect on how remembering what God has done in the past strengthens our unity and shapes how we move forward in faith. As Mount Lebanon nears 100 years of ministry, we are invited to set up our own “stones of remembrance,” celebrating how God has led us and trusting Him to lead us still.
