Hey everyone... this isn't an episode. We just wanted to let you know that we are going on hiatus for a bit (unsure for how long) because today is literally Courtney's due date for baby. So until life settles down again we are putting our podcast side project on hold. Hope you have beautiful holidays, a great start to 2024, and see you sometime later!
We're back with some more awkward laws! From flying kites, to taking selfies, and what kind of underwear you're allowed to wear... tune in to hear what countries limit you in ways you can't really understand. Plus, Emily shares her own awkward underwear story and it's a good one.

It’s an episode all on pregnancy! If you didn’t know, Courtney and Erwin are expecting their first baby in December. In this episode, Erwin joins the show and they tell the full story: when they knew they were ready for a baby, how they found out they were pregnant, their plans for birth, the languages the baby will speak, and more! Erwin even goes on a full rant about eggs, which is incredibly important and necessary.
*Little disclaimer: we recorded this entire episode and then realized the microphone wasn't plugged in, so the audio isn't the best, but it is what it is*
If there's a law about it, it's because someone did it with disastrous consequences. In today's episode, we discuss some funny laws that don't really make sense, but at the same time really, really do. This is humanity at its finest!

The world is a tough place to navigate! Sometimes that means that people believe some pretty stupid stuff. At least when you're a kid, you have an excuse. In this episode, we talk about stupid stuff we believed as kids. Watch the video about the house hippo here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TijcoS8qHIE.
There’s being awkward… and then there’s being just plain creepy. In today’s episode, we discuss a viral twitter chain that exposed a man in Toronto (and surrounding area) for what he’s been doing to women on dating apps and social media for 10+ years. Unfortunately, this type of behaviour spans far and wide, and we discuss red flags, some personal stories, and why this is so important to talk about.
Thank you so much to Kelsey who started this conversation, and to every single woman who has spoken up since. You build the foundation for every woman to tell their story.

There are 8 billion people in the world - does every single one of them really have a unique personality? Or are there patterns of behaviour and traits we see across different individuals? Women have been told for centuries to be the perfect embodiment of a female - quiet, polite, submissive, etc. Basically, seen but not heard. And it’s interesting to consider how this leads to some issues in awkwardness for women today, such as being too afraid to be rude to men or too timid to be a powerhouse at work. Today we discuss this and share some stories.
