This week we sat down with Annie Nelson, an author, entrepreneur, speaker, and Founder of The AmericanSoldier Network and Ruckup.og.

She was also just named the 2025 Nashville Remarkable Woman of the Year for devoting so much of her life tohelping Veterans and their families.

It all started with a Marine pen-pal and care packages that helped formed strong bonds, lifelong friendshipsand multiple Veteran organizations.

After a visit to a combat hospital, she realized her passion lies in advocacy and awareness for Veteran’s needs andproviding resources to troops.

She has had her own personal medical challenges, including multiple brain surgeries for tumors that taught herresilience, compassion and the power of faith.
