Money Minutes: Apple's "Pay Later" is No Useful Tool

Stephen and Matthew talk about Apple's new "Pay Later" feature and the harmful effects of buy now, pay later. Companies like Affirm, Klarna, and AfterPay perpetuate the idea that young adults can simply pay in installments without any repercussions--this is far from the truth. Young adults should approach buy now and pay later with caution and intent. Frankly, Buy now, Pay Later instills the idea that people can afford goods they can't.
