Today’s guest is a force in and out of the ring. Hailing from Surrey, British Columbia, and now training out of Montreal, Eric Basran is one of Canada's fastest-rising boxing stars. A decorated amateur and 4-time national champion, Eric brought home bronze from the 2018 Commonwealth Games and made headlines by defeating elite Cuban opponents, a rare feat in amateur boxing.
Now 8–1 as a professional, Eric’s explosive style, sharp boxing IQ, and relentless discipline have taken him from local gyms to global stages, including the prestigious WBC Riyadh Season Grand Prix, where he competed among 128 of the world’s best fighters.
But Eric’s story goes far beyond boxing. As a proud Punjabi Sikh, he’s become a role model in his community, mentoring youth, giving back, and representing something bigger than the sport. He’s fighting not just for belts, but for legacy.
