EMILY RINK: From Magazine Covers To The Recording Studio
The Model Diaries – Emily Rink
In this episode of The Model Diaries, we sit down with the multi-talented Emily Rink—a model, musician, and creative force who first captured the industry's attention as the winner of the Girlfriend Model Search at just 15 years old.
Winning the competition was life-changing, securing her a cover shoot, a contract with a top Australian agency and a trip to New York City. From her first-ever magazine cover to meeting agencies in the U.S. and balancing modeling with high school life, Emily’s early career was a whirlwind of incredible opportunities.
At 20, Emily made the decision to step back from modeling — to be close to her family in a time of grief. The passing of her father reshaped her outlook on life, leading her to pursue a new creative passion: music.
Now, Emily is making waves as an artist, supporting and working alongside some of her biggest idols such as Matt Corby, Ziggy Alberts and Crooked Colours. In this episode, she opens up about the highs and lows of modelling, her journey through grief, and how she found her voice in music.
From magazine covers to the recording studio—Emily Rink’s story is one of resilience, reinvention, and raw creativity.
