Breath to Balance: Discovering the Six Pillars of Wellness with Ann Maxwell

Join host Carly Jean Puch and special guest Ann as they delve into the transformative power of mindfulness and self-care in a hectic world. This insightful episode explores how ancient yogic principles, such as satya (truthfulness) and asteya (non-stealing), can guide us toward more authentic and balanced lives. The conversation highlights the importance of breath as a grounding tool and challenges the societal glorification of busyness, advocating for a mindset shift towards presence and authenticity. Listeners will journey through the six pillars of wellness with a special focus on self-awareness and self-reflection. These pillars encourage a shift from consumer-driven self-care to understanding oneself from within, fostering personal growth and community connection.

Discover practical strategies for maintaining balance amidst life's chaos, including mindful breathing, reducing screen time, prioritizing sleep, and personalizing movement routines. Self-care is celebrated as a fluid and individualized practice, encouraging spontaneity and simplicity. Whether you're new to mindfulness or a seasoned practitioner, this episode offers inspiration to craft your personalized self-care journey.
