Welcome to Episode 129 - Mens Health Week

 

June 10th-16th is Mens Health Week here in Australia, and coincides with Mens Mental Health Month across the globe. And to promote these initiatives across the globe, I thought I would chat about the most commonly asked question I receive – “how do I get this man I know into therapy?” 

 

This is a really challenging question, because the answer isn’t simple. Its not easy when the man in your life isn’t ready for therapy. And theres a range of reasons for this, including shame, stigma, not having the words, toxic masculinity… the list goes on! But despite the challenge, I also have a solution. So join me as we explore this commonly asked question and hopefully inspire you – or someone you know – to start talking about their mental health!
