Hi Mind Grind Fam,
Like most of us, you probably want relationships that feel strong and stable. You may place a high priority on love in relationships, and may lose sight of what this word "love" actually means in action. It's easy to do many things out of love or desire for close connections (or even the fear of losing others), but this can often be at a cost to yourself. We see this loss of self often in relationships that are unhealthy, where this is addiction, mental health issues, abuse, etc... This is at the core of our episode about codependency.
You've likely heard the word "codependency," but may be unsure of what it looks this looks like or how to have a relationship without it. In this episode, we begin to explain what it is and how to start moving away from codependent habits towards healthier relationship dynamics.
This is a really helpful episode for all kinds of relationships: familial, romantic, friendship, etc.. and can be a great guide for anyone who wants to know what to look out for and how to live happier in their connections. We hope you enjoy it!
