Chrissy Amphlett once sang, ‘There’s a fine line between pleasure and pain.’  Turns out, there is also a fine line between standing up for yourself and being a Karen.  Fonz ponders this as she fears she may have had a Karen moment, and as we discuss this, we see there are some murky lines between the two.

Mez’s daughter played Pac Man over the weekend.  Now it looks like she knows more about this classic 80’s arcade game than Mez.  This led us to a conversation about possibly having a Midlifer game of laser tag.  Anyone keen???

We’re bringing back ‘Don’t be a 🍆’ this week.  It’s all about hotel etiquette.  What is ok to take home from the hotel room? Are you kids allowed to cannon ball in the pool? And a warning: don’t lick the mirrors or wrap yourself in the curtains…

This week we are also doing a ‘Deep Dive’ on The Simpsons!! Do’h! For all of the Gen Xers or Millennials out there, you most likely would remember when this awesome show was first released in the early 90’s in Aus.  It was so revolutionary at the time, and we grew up watching & quoting this show religiously.  Part 2 will surely be happening, as there was just too much to cram in!

There’s laugher, there’s nostalgia, and most importantly, there’s fun.  So sit back and have a cuppa, and join us midlifers!
