Our guest today is Dr. Rosanne Welch, the author of A Man of Action Saving Liberty: A Novel Based on the Life of Giuseppe Garibaldi. Garibaldi is the man credited with uniting Italy into one country in 1860. In the book, we also meet his Brazilian wife, Anita, who fought by his side and American journalist Margaret Fuller who had been sent to Rome to cover the conflict.
