The 2009 Medtronic Lecture in Biomedical Engineering was presented by Professor Roger G. Mark, MD, PhD entitled: "Integrating Data, Models, and Reasoning in Critical Care". The 2009 Medtronic Lecture in Biomedical Engineering was presented by Professor Roger G. Mark, MD, PhD entitled: "Integrating Data, Models, and Reasoning in Critical Care". Professor Mark is Distinguished Professor of Health Sciences and Technology, and Professor of Electrical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Mr Stephen Mahle, Medtronic Executive Vice-President and Foundation Chair, also presented certificates to Medtronic scholars, Rebekah-Ann Cilia and Stéphanie Trine.
