People with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) and Parkinsonism may notice a change in their ability to manage their saliva. The medical term for drooling is Sialorrhea (pronounced si-al-luh-RI-a), which occurs when saliva spills out of the mouth. This resource is intended to help people with Parkinson’s Disease and their care partners understand and manage drooling.
