Back in in 2014, a coalition of minority-business associations consisting of the Latino Contractors Association, the Black Contractors Association, the Black Business Association, and the Latino Professional Business Network, partnered and founded the Rhode Island Coalition For Economic Equity (RICFEE) with the mission to monitor the MBE/WBE participation in construction projects across Rhode Island, particularly those taking place in communities with large minority demographics, and address what we identified a systemic injustice in the bidding process!
